Kochi: The Mattancherry police have arrested a youth with 500 grams of MDMA worth Rs 25 lakh. Srinish, 32, son of Suresh of Murikkumthara House, Koovapadam,Mattancherry, was arrested by the police.The accused was arrested as part of Combing conducted at Mattanchery Subdivision by Assistant Commissioner, Mattanchery Sub Division Sri VG Raveendranath and his team contains Sri.Thritheep Chandran SHO Mattanchery, Sri. 500 grams of MDMA, Rs 20,136 received from the sale, a weighing scale and small ziplock covers were recovered from the accused. During the investigation, it was found that such a huge quantity of drugs were brought from Bangalore by a native of Kochi, who is a friend of the accused.
