Mattancherry police arrested a man with MDMA, a deadly drug
As part of operations against the drug mafia in West Kochi, Mattanchery Assistant Commissioner Arun K Pavithran IPS and Mattanchery Police have arrested 40-year-old Rasul,son of Beeras,Mundakkal House,Kadebhagam ,Palluruthi. Police recovered 1.25 grams of MDMA from him.The Mattanchery police informed that he is a link in the drug sales chain and further investigation is being conducted regarding the source of the drugs in his possession. The accused was apprehended by a police team consisting of SIs Alex, Mukundan, ASI Satish, SCPOs Edwin Rose, Viju, Ranjit Hani and CPO Binu.
