Youths who created an atmosphere of terror by becoming violent under the influence of alcohol were arrested.

Town North police arrested the youths
who were celebrating the World Cup football victory near Kaloor metro station
and blocking public transport and creating an atmosphere of terror. The police
have arrested Arun George, 31 years old,Son of George,Nilavarath House,Kaloor ,Sarath
, 32 years old, Son of Chandran, Thadangadu House,Kaloor and Rivin,33 years
old, Son of George,Poovenkery House,Poneth road, Kaloor.The incident related to
the case happened on the morning of 19.12.2022. The young people who were under
the influence of alcohol were celebrating the World Cup football victory on the
road near the Kaloor metro station and created an atmosphere of terror by
blocking the public transport. The youth also attacked the police who came to
know about the incident and tried to persuade the youth. Ernakulam Town North
Police SHO Brija kumar, sub-inspectors Akhildev and Harikrishnan and civil
police officers Anandaraj, Vibin and Libinraj arrested the accused. Further
action is being taken.
