Palluruthy Police Station is opened on 15.08.1957 as per GO- Rt No. 1134/68 Home dt 20.07.1968. This Police Station has been shifted to New Building No. XVIII/217/A of Corporation of Kochi as per GO (Rt) 3447/2007 Home dt 18.02.2008. in 45.73 cents of land at Palluruthy Police Station in of Rameswaram Village. The Police Station is situated approximately 50 meters away from Aroor– Thoppumpady National highway. Janamaithry project is also functioning in Palluruthy PS.

Azhakiya Kavu Bagavathy Temple

Palluruthy Azhakiya Kavu temple one among the famous devi temple in Kochi Devasam Board . The temple is adjacent to Arror- Thoppumpady Road.The temple was built in the land donated by the Maharaja of Kochi. This temple has four feet high Dara Vigraha of bhagathy in an 8 acre land. The temple faces the east and has 5 Pooja daily. The festival of this temple on month February every year. On the day of Arattu the guard of honor is given by the police. The famous Pulavanibha was conducting in the temple ground.
Sree Bhavaniswara Temple

Sree Bhavaneeswara Temple in Palluruthy, Kochi established by the great saint, sage and social reformer of India, Sree Narayana Guru on 8 March 1916. This is the ftrst temple of the backward classes to have a Golden Mast (Swarna Dhwajam). The ten days long festival of the Kshethram which starts on Bharani Nakshathram during the month of Kumbha attracts thousands of devotees from various places, every year. The Kavadi Khoshayathra conducted on Pooya Mahotsava day is also a spectacular show. Cultural and entertainment programmes on festival days are being staged at two locations at temple ground and High school ground. Almost all renowned artists and masters have performed on these stages.
