Three youths have been arrested with mdma, a banned drug. The accused were arrested from a private hotel on Thammanam Shantipuram Road under palarivattom police station limits. The arrested have been identified as 24-year-old Febin, son of Siby Joseph of Vattamthadathil, a native of Kuramkundu in Pilachikkara, Kasargod, Akshay(23), son of Anil Kumar ,Panakkal House, Ayyampally,Kizhippally and Tony Varghese(30), son of Fransis, Manu Nivas a native of Kakkathoppu,Iravipuram,Kollam. Based on a tip-off received by kochi city police commissioner, the three were arrested in a joint raid conducted by kochi city dhansaf and palarivattom police on the instructions of Deputy Commisioner Shri. V U Kuriakose IPS . The police recovered 5.29 grams of MDMA from them. Further action is being taken against the accused.
